What is Plasma?
The Science of Plasma
The definition of Plasma on the MIT website describes superheated matter – so hot that the electrons are ripped away from the atoms forming an ionized gas. It comprises over 99% of the visible universe. In the night sky, plasma glows in the form of stars, nebulas, and even the auroras that sometimes ripple above the north and south poles. That branch of lightning that cracks the sky is plasma, so are the neon signs along our city streets. And so is our sun, the star that makes life on earth possible.
Plasma is often called “the fourth state of matter,” along with solid, liquid and gas. Just as a liquid will boil, changing into a gas when energy is added, heating a gas will form a plasma – a soup of positively charged particles (ions) and negatively charged particles (electrons).
Cold plasma, also known as nonthermal plasma, isa partially ionized gas with a temperature of around room temperature for its heavy particles, but a much higher temperature for its electrons. Cold plasma deactivates bacteria, fungi, viruses and also multi-resistant pathogens. It activates cell growth, blood circulation and cell metabolism and thus stimulates wound healing.
Futuristic applications of plasma include: plasma-based medical treatments, advanced space propulsion systems using plasma thrusters, highly efficient energy generation through nuclear fusion, waste remediation using plasma technology, advanced materials modification through plasma surface treatment, targeted drug delivery systems, and highly precise manufacturing techniques utilizing plasma etching;essentially, plasma could revolutionize fields like healthcare, space exploration, energy production, and materials science by leveraging its unique properties as an ionized gas.
The Metaphysics of Plasma
Derived from the Greek meta ta physika ("after the things of nature"); referring to an idea, doctrine, or posited reality outside of human sense perception. In modern philosophical terminology, Metaphysics refers to the studies of what cannot be reached through objective studies of material reality.
In my definition Metaphysics is simply the study of anything that cannot be put into words. It is a holistic view bridging science and spirituality that creates an expanded container of understanding for many of the mysteries of life.
This makes it the perfect window into my study of Plasma Intelligence - which is a working theory that Plasma, the fourth state of matter, has an intelligence akin to a living, breathing matrix that creates our reality, interacts with our consciousness, and has appeared through many metaphors of the divine feminine throught ancient mythology.
I have created my own field of study termed Holonic Metadynamics™ which is the birthchild of Metaphysics and Quantum Physics.
